sorry this will be my third comment criticizing you and I am sure it won’t be the last. I also want to point out and appreciate your effort for supporting oromo stuff. you have good articles on oromo history, but I think sometimes you do it a bit to much. I don’t think we oromos should support any oromo that we see out there. We have to be a bit pick about who we choose to support. I will be honest this girls has good voice but she also sing in amharic and that is the thing i dont like about her. I dont mind her singing in amharic but as pro independece or pro authomony individuals she is at odds with our cause, because of this we shouldnt be lending her our hand. there will be a time when we can blast amharic music and amhara stuff, but this should be the moment when we build our culture not others.

We should remember that Oromo is a civilized nation who IS OPEN TO learning and teaching people…most of all a nation that believes in freedom…that’s what we are fighting to achieve in the country of Ethiopia – the backward society where the Oromos are trapped. We shouldn’t repeat or follow the culture the Habashas imposed on all Ethiopian peoples for centuries…to live in their NARROW BOX THAT NO BODY COULD FIT IN. We should leave people alone to be who they are and do what they want to do. If this girl sings in Oromo and Amahric- she’s one of the good examples to show the Habasha people that Oromo is a open society…a society that encourages all people to bring out the best in themselves in every angle and display their talents to the world. Being stingy and jealousy became a culture only in Ethiopia imposed by the Habashas…otherwise singing freely and speaking any language freely and equally is natural and God given…a sign of civilization which the Habashas could never and will never understand. That is what every Oromo should understand. When you say “this girl” am not sure who you are refering to…if you are talking about Hanisha I don’t even know who she is…whether she’s Oromo or another…but I believe she’s Oromo…and I salute her for her beautiful voice and appearance…she’s a model and should be encouraged to sing more Oromo songs as well as any other music in any other language.

So, please let’s be the real and natural Oromo not the Habasha type. Let’s try to get out of their tiny box and see the world…our free world!

THANK YOU HANISHA…YOU ARE GORGEOUS SO IS YOUR OROMO ACCENT…YOU HAVE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFU VOICES AROUND. KEEP IT UP!!!
