After having lunch at the Hilton Hotel, the newly weds went to Meskel Sqare where thousands of fans were waiting for them. Tirunesh and Sileshi has a hero’s welcome at 3:45 p.m. From Hilton Hotel all the way to the stage at Meskel Sqare, there were hundreds of thousands of fans waving and cheering Tirunesh and Sileshi’s names. The stars did not turn a deaf ear -they were wavign to thier fans.
Both Sileshi and Tirunesh are not new for such royal treatment, but to come out as the only stars for the day, has been a new experiance for them. Sileshi and Tirunesh has stolen the attention of viewers who were enthusiasticaly attending the Chelsi Vs Liverpool match on the Sonic Screen. Peagons flying, flowers thrown, and lots of cheering were all parts of the delightful sight at Meskel Square.
Swaying in the royal transport carrige that once used to belong to Fitawrari Balderas (a senior offcial during Emperor Haile Selassie’s time), the two were transported to Sheraton Addis at 10:50 where they will have photo shoot program and a dinner that will be attended by hundreds of guests.
