The deputy Prime Minister Addisu Legesse has another title to his name. On top of being a deputy prime minister of Ethiopia, he is also the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. If the current famine is any indication, this guy is not doing his job right. More than eighty percent of Ethiopian population live in rural areas and they lead their livelihood primarily on Agriculture. Private investors have built high rise buildings and opened small businesses in urban areas but in rural areas there is no development whatsoever. Year after year, these incompetent leaders deny the existance of famine but shamelessly go out begging for assistance. How long are they going to speak out of both sides of their mouth before we tell them to shut up?
