Nothing ruins good intention as discovering it's politically driven. It has the same effect a fly has to a jar of honey ;) . Still, am glad neither Kenenisa, nor Tirunesh, nor Derartu, nor any of the Oromo kids running for Ethiopia see things the way you to boys seem to. But i love you both & Congrats to us all!

To read my take on it, go to More than silver, more than Gold

It is a marvelous poem, which, I believe, could boost the morals of Oromo athletic heroes. It is also an accelerative poem for the incoming hundreds of Biqilaa and Biqiltuu, Daraaraa and Daraartuu, Dibabaa and Dibaabee, Roobaa and Roobee, Tolaa and Tolashii,Tufaa and Tuftuu, Burqaa and Burqituu,Qananiissaa and Qanaatuu, Fiixaa and Fiixashii and many, many others in Oromiyaa. An independent Oromiyaa will not ignore them. Though they run for Ethiopia today, Ethiopia ignored Heroes like Qananiisaa to officially invite him at the awarding ceremoney of all African athletes, held in Sheraton Hotel, Finninnee this year, on the occasion of African Athletics Championship. The Qananiissaas are always on the front line in advertising the colour of the country's flag in every continent of the world.
